Unfortunately, her difficult family circumstances prevented her from being able to focus on butterfly farming as much as she had hoped. From January to December 2011, she was able to earn an additional 96,575 TZS (about US$ 60) from butterfly farming, and pay back the loan portion of her start-up funding in full. Miza hopes to be able to earn more from butterfly farming in the months ahead to provide for her family.
