About - Mwaka Mustafa Mtambo
Mwaka is 28 years old and lives in the village of Pete on Zanzibar. She is married; her husband, Awilo, works part-time as a gardener at Zanzibar Butterfly Centre and has requested funding through 50/50 to buy chickens to help supplement the family's income. Mwaka and Awilo have four kids, ranging in age from 2 to 9 years old. All of their children but the youngest are currently in school. Mwaka does not have any other work at the moment so she is looking forward to devoting her time to butterfly farming.
